Slow during non-peak hours

- YouTube is slow and sometimes unplayable

- Netflix keeps buffering and HD is unobtainable

- imgur.com is slow

- minus.com is slow

- Tons of people complaining about not being able to play Star Trek Online in addition to other related games

 

I see constant issues with Cogent, TeliaSonera, NTT (what my.verizon.com is hosted through), Savvis, Level3, and Above.Net.

 

These issues have been going on for a few months now and zero updates from Verizon outside of a single blog post from Verizon's David E. Young, VP of Verizon Federal Regulatory Affairs. Basically he said not our (Verizon's) fault, and that Verizon is going to do nothing about it.

 

In my opinion, it's clear to me that Verizon doesn't care about its customers but instead short term profits for shareholders.

 

I constantly see high ping times, tons of jitter, and packet loss. Not just outside of Verizon's network but within Verizon's network as well.

 

 

 

 

I pay for 75/35. The above is 2.09%/9.71% of what I pay for. I understand Verizon does not guarantee connectivity to networks outside of Verizon's immediate network but there comes a point where that's just beyond ridiculous.

 

This whole situation is pathetic and tiring.
