Re: Anyone else having issues with Netflix streaming recently?

Same issue. I pay for 75 Mbps, and get good bandwidth for general internet usage, except when I stream Netflix or Amazon movies. Then the bandwidth often drops into the single digits, with the movies being interrupted several times. I have called them several times to complain, but they have no credible answers. Are we dealing with a conflict of interest issue here? Are they trying to force me to rent (often, as ridiculous as it may seem, purchase) the movies from them? I pay nearly $300 per month for Internet, Cable TV and phone service to Verizon. Is that not enough? Have they not realized that I represent the perfect demographic for them, the person who loyally maintains the relationship with their cable provider while also supplementing their entertainment options with what the next generation considers their only source of entertainment, namely a world disconnected from cable. If I pay for 75 Mbps Internet service, give it to me, otherwise I'll pay more to get an independent internet provider and pick another vendor for cable and phone.

I feel like being "had" in a big way, and the fuse will eventually burn out.
