My BBU needs replacement immediately.
The online agent {edited for privacy} patiently went through the process of explaining about the BBU which was not informed to me at the start of my contract with FIOS in July 2012.
He said the warranty period starts with installation of service for 1 year, however, it was installed in June 2010 for the previous resident of this house.
Can you kindly let me know how to get this replaced UNDER WARRANTY before it stops functioning completely and i am unable to get onto this forum or contact Verizon through the internet - as i believe it can back up only for 8 hours and it was 3 minutes before 8pm after 36 minutes of chatting online with above agent who then said this was a billing issue and not a technical issue.
He signed off on his own after informing me that he would get his supervisor to address this issue - i agree that 36 minutes was tiresome for him and his supervisor, but it was equally tiring for me to finally get through to him -
i am happy to attach the transcript of our conversation or email it to you if needed.
Kindly replace this BBU so that our services are not cut off suddenly as a lot depends on my using the internet for work.
