Currently i have FIOS internet but now i want to install faster internet as well as fios TV. The issue first started on july 6 saturday where i scheduled services for an upgrade of FIOs to be installed in my home. from the hours of 8-12 i remained home. I even waited till 2pm for the tech personal to come until i called customer service. At that time which they had me wait 28 minutes for them to reach the tech department where no one answered the phone. They could not reach the dispatch center or the technician. then customer service proceeded to as me to further wait until i told them i will reschedule. then one week later on july 12 we rescheduled the service person to come to install services once again i waited from the hours of 8-12 where this time i waited till 1:30 pm still no service person came, once again. I called customer service, which told me that they have postponed the service until 2059. once again i was put on hold for another 20 minutes for this information. neither time did verizon fios or their service person called me or email or even text me that there is a delay in service and i wasted 10 hours of my time dealing with them. the manager was not very helpful in this matter. i once again reschuled service for this week july 20 from 11-2pm. seeing that there is no service truck ouside at 1:30 i called customer service. they informed me that the service person will not be here untl 530-630. It has been hot this week in NY but what if he doesn't show up again? i have wasted alot of time already, and you know what i would like to be at the beach too instead of wasting 3 weekends already waiting for service. i don't feel that this is good customer service on their behalf to not be able to find their tech personal as well as waste the customer's time. at this time i am very disappointed, they have all the notes in the computer, and i am not a difficult customer. It has been the third time aready i think i have the right to complain. Am i less important than other customers, where i need to be disrespected, and not even get a call that it was cancel? and if i am waiting for them three times already from the hours of 8-12 or 11-2 i expect them to show up just as they expect me to be home. if i had not called customer service and to be informed that my service is now pushed back to 530 what happens if i am now not home? this is terrible.
