Ping and Packet Loss on the new MI424WR router

The old black MI424WR router I have used to give me a ping around 10-20 on a wireless connection.

Now that I've upgraded to the New MI424WR router (the red one with 802.11n), my ping is ridiculously high, and I get Packet Loss. This is really concerning. What do I do?

I am on a wireless connection.
