It seems like this might be an issue where when you go to youtube.com, it redirects you to a cdn that youtube is using and that cdn happens to be saturated with traffic, thus the slow load times.

It's definitely an issue. It's not only youtube but also when downloading for the Google Play Store. My short term fix is to vpn into my jobs network. Doing this allows me to stream without issue....
